STEP 4 OF 4: Choose Lenses Material
A high index lens provides a number of benefits to the wearer:
- Are thinner and less noticeable in the profile of the glasses.
- High index lenses reduce eye distortion. (also known as the "coke bottle" effect)
- These lenses are more lightweight making the glasses more comfortable to wear.
Love the funky chunkiness of these frames. They sit really nicely on the bridge of my nose. Also, a very small detail I noticed once I had them a few days, the nose piece has a clear bit on the part that is closest to the eyes. That way, it is more subtle and doesn't compromise the overall lines of the frames themselves. I wish they were a smidge more narrow, like a 140 instead of 145, but they work. The price is right and the progressive frames are great! I do think I'll need to get them adjusted because my ears aren't exactly the same height, but overall, am very pleased.
If you are a fan of the slightly less chunky ray ban wayfarers, these may work for you. (Personally, I refuse to buy ray bans anymore, now that they have partnered with not one, but two, "evil empire" companies, Facebook and Amazon, to have video and voice commands built in. Am pretty creeped out at the notion of that technology being ubiquitous. Hopefully, it'll flop.)
I love them so much, perfect size and perfect color!
Good style but too big
I love by glasses!quality and style for a low price!! Smart!
